About the Job

ISEC is seeking experienced Union Carpenters with a solid background in Division 8 installations. Candidates must have hands‑on experience installing commercial doors, frames, and hardware according to plans and specifications. This role requires a high level of technical skill, attention to detail, and the ability to work productively as part of a coordinated crew on active construction sites.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Installation of commercial doors, frames, and hardware according to specifications and shop drawings
• Pre‑installation planning, including identifying required tools, materials, and the safest, most efficient installation techniques
• Coordination of daily tasks with the Foreman and crew to maintain workflow and meet deadlines
• Ensuring high‑quality workmanship and compliance with project requirements; pre‑testing electrified door hardware, checking functionality, and troubleshooting problems
• Maintenance of a clean and organized workstation
• Adherence to company policies and job‑site protocols

Minimum Qualifications

• Union member
• High School Education or Equivalent
• 3–5 years’ experience as a finished carpenter
• 1+ years of experience installing commercial doors, frames, and hardware
