Overview:
A well-established general contractor specializing in water and wastewater infrastructure projects is seeking a seasoned General/Site Superintendent to oversee field operations. The company is licensed throughout the Southeast and self-performs key trades including concrete, civil, piping, structural steel, and equipment setting. Projects typically include water treatment plants, wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and pipeline installations.
Job Summary:
The General/Site Superintendent will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations on active construction sites. This includes coordinating subcontractors, directing field crews, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules. Candidates should have a strong background in heavy concrete, civil construction, and underground utility work. Experience with water/wastewater treatment plant construction is highly preferred.
Responsibilities : Oversee all on-site construction activities and ensure work is performed to specifications. Communicate regularly with the Project Manager regarding progress, issues, and updates. Coordinate subcontractors and direct self-perform crews across multiple trades. Monitor and enforce site safety protocols. Generate and submit daily field reports. Provide hands-on support and guidance when needed. Ensure quality control and adherence to project plans and timelines.

MondayThursday, 6:00 AM
4:00 PM Some projects may require 56 day workweeks depending on scope and schedule Standard weekly hours range from 4050. Benefits:

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or Foreman in heavy civil or utility construction
Strong understanding of water/wastewater treatment plant construction preferred
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Willingness to work hands-on and lead by example
Valid drivers license
COMPENSATION: 100K-120K/yearly Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
