Remote Pharmacy Care Technician

Remote (U.S. based) Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM CST

Closing Shift:

11:30 AM–8:00 PM CST one night every other week and every 8th Friday

About Us Join the Clinical Engagement Services Center team—a dynamic group of clinical pharmacists, nurses, certified pharmacy technicians, and customer service professionals delivering high-impact clinical services. Our programs include Adherence, Diabetes Management, Medication Therapy Management, PolyPharmacy, STARS adherence, and more.

As a Pharmacy Care Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting pharmacist consultations and ensuring operational excellence across our clinical programs. This is a remote call center role with a strong emphasis on patient engagement, data accuracy, and HIPAA compliance.

Key Responsibilities Schedule pharmacist consultations for members enrolled in clinical programs Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect patient privacy at all times Document provider feedback and manage incoming fax queues Handle returned mail per standard operating procedures Deliver exceptional customer service on inbound/outbound calls Participate in department meetings and process improvement initiatives Support User Acceptance Testing for new projects Perform auxiliary tasks to maintain department efficiency Other duties as assigned by the Operations Team Manager

Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of remote work experience in a cross-functional team Current pharmacy technician license in your state of residence Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel Strong multitasking and tech navigation skills Flexible availability between 8:00 AM–8:00 PM CST, Monday–Friday

Preferred Qualifications Prior call center experience (inbound/outbound) Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification Bilingual in Cantonese, Korean, Mandarin, Russian, Spanish, or Vietnamese Experience with Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM)

Soft Skills Excellent written and verbal communication Empathetic listener with strong telephonic presence Self-motivated and highly organized Skilled in cross-functional collaboration Proficient in Excel navigation across multiple worksheets Able to manage multiple priorities without compromising quality
