Staff Pharmacist
to join the team at our newly completed
Portal Pharmacy , a state-of-the-art retail pharmacy serving the Moab community. This role offers the opportunity to deliver excellent patient-centered pharmacy care in one of Utah’s most scenic locations. Schedule Approximately
40 hours per week

12/31/2025 – 1/2/2026 Pharmacy Hours of Operation: Monday–Saturday: 9:30 AM – 8:30 PM Sunday: 2:30 PM – 7:30 PM Key Responsibilities Pharmacy Operations Oversee day-to-day retail pharmacy operations in compliance with all federal and state regulations Manage and audit inventory to ensure availability, minimize waste, and optimize cost efficiency Collaborate with suppliers and wholesalers for medication orders and transaction tracking Maintain compliance with the
340B Drug Pricing Program Medication Dispensing & Patient Care Accurately interpret, verify, and dispense prescriptions Conduct medication reviews and interaction checks Maintain accurate patient medication records and ensure confidentiality Administer immunizations under approved protocols Provide consultations and medication counseling to patients and families Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal medication therapy management Training & Education Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and students Stay current with hospital and licensure education requirements Community Engagement Represent the pharmacy in local health events and community outreach programs Foster relationships with local providers and community stakeholders Minimum Qualifications Required: Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy Current and unrestricted
Utah Pharmacist License (RPh) Licensure to dispense controlled substances in Utah Excellent communication, interpersonal, and computer skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Strong understanding of pharmacy operations and compliance Preferred: 3+ years of experience in a retail/community pharmacy setting APhA Immunization Certification Prior pharmacy management experience Why Join Moab Regional Hospital?
