Software Engineer - C, C++, C#

This could be a combination of working on current applications as well as a new product launch due by the end of this year (Chemical Application). Job Summary: The Software Engineer will work on project teams to provide a broad range of software design and programming expertise designing applications and embedded software for complex analytical instrumentation systems. Job Duties: Responsible for all software engineering lifecycle processes including requirements gathering, analysis, design, programming, debugging and unit testing of new development and sustaining of existing applications. Develop applications that require a broad range of technical expertise from instrument control to UI/UX to complex algorithm development. Partner with project, scientific and manufacturing teams. Provide support to both internal (Mfg, Service, S&T, etc) and external customers. Produce code that follows best security practices Participate in a small Agile environment (2 week sprints, retrospectives, demos) Job Qualifications: Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce. Minimum 8 years relevant experience in software application development. BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Experience with C & C++. Experience with C# Experience with UI programming (WPF, Winforms, MFC, etc) Comfortable with multi-threaded programming and debugging Experience with unit testing infrastructures.
