Staff Pharmacist, Amazon Pharmacy

Amazon Pharmacy (PillPack, LLC) is seeking a qualified Staff Pharmacist to join our team in Summerville, SC. This position involves hands‑on pharmacy operations, prescription fulfillment, and customer support to deliver safe and accurate medication services.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify medication quality assurance for all packet and bulk dispenses.
• Collaborate with other staff pharmacists to ensure all packet and bulk sets undergo thorough quality assurance checks prior to shift end.
• Manage prescription workflows: initial order processing, verification, transfer coordination, new prescription acquisition, and system verification.
• Perform ancillary housekeeping tasks: check returns, input medication rejects, oversee substitutions, canister approval.
• Answer clinical questions and provide clinical guidance to customers and the pharmacy team.
• Investigate errors, facilitate proper resolution and reporting.
• Collate and deliver pertinent pharmacy information to the distribution team.
• Ensure compliance with all company procedures, federal and state laws, rules, and regulations.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team members to maintain customer satisfaction.

Schedule

10‑hour shifts starting at 7:30 AM: Wed–Sat, Sun–Wed, Fri–Mon.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree.
• Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of employment (SC). Additional licenses may be required if domicile state differs.
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws, federal and state regulations concerning patient care.
• Exemplary interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Warehouse work, including lifting up to 20 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in LTC or retail pharmacy settings.
• Excellent communication skills.
