Warehouse Material Handler – Ryder Supply Chain Solutions

Join Ryder as a Warehouse Material Handler in Newnan, Georgia. This Permanent Full‑time position requires operating forklifts, loading, picking, packing and shipping products, primarily foods, in a safe and efficient environment.

Position Summary

• Products handled: Foods
• Equipment used: Reach Truck, Forklift, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack
• Pay: $19.00 per hour, paid weekly

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Maintain paperwork: picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience (preferred).
• Valid Forklift Operator’s License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
• Highly thorough, dependable, punctual, with good attendance record.
• Works independently with minimal supervision; demonstrates initiative and accuracy under pressure.
• Physical requirements: lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs; stand for long periods; work safely with health and safety methods.
• Flexible for varying work shifts.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
