Human Resource Generalist
Job Type: Full Time, onsite (with flexible hybrid opportunity)

Responsibilities
- Administer day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, benefit administration, and employee relations.
- Pre-screen new applicants.
- Conducts background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Maintain and update employee records in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Support HR Managers with performance management processes and employee development programs.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding onboarding, benefits, and HR policies and procedures.
- Partner with leadership on HR best practices and workplace culture initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality of all information and records, both verbal and written.
- Establish, maintain, file and audit electronic personnel files.
- Maintain requirement employment posters for locations.
- Assist HR Managers with policy development, compliance audits, and process improvements.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations' HRIS and talent management systems.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field, a plus.
- 2-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Excel. Experience with ADP a plus!
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and critical thinking skills
Work Environment
- This position is performed indoors routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
- Occasional visits to company locations maybe required.
- This is a full-time, hourly position with the expected days of Monday-Friday.
- Additional availability may be required during business or workload challenges and disruptions.
