DTM Executive Search, Inc. is hiring: Accounting Manager in Town of Florida

Immediate need for an Accounting Manager to be responsible for the accounting and reporting. This includes preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, preparing journal entries for month‑end closings and performing variance analysis on financial activity.

Duties Include

• Manage and supervise the internal financial reporting process
• Manage the month‑end close process, analyze monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuations
• Prepare and review complex and adjusting journal entries and financial statements
• Assist Senior Management in the research and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
• Documentation of supporting schedules and analysis for quarterly and year‑end deliverables
• Issuing and compiling quarterly requirements and accrual requests for various departments
• Preparation of ad‑hoc reports as required for account variances and analysis
• Assist in the creation (or updating) of the Company’s accounting policies and procedures
• Support management in streamlining the month‑end close process through process improvements and automation
• Support Senior Management in Special Projects

Requirements

• BBA in Accounting is a MUST
• 5‑years plus accounting experience and proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a MUST
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles, debit/credit workflow, exceptionally strong analytical skills, and the ability to be attentive to details.
• Proven ability to interact with all levels of the organization, "Hands‑on" style and detail‑oriented approach to document preparation and/or review
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
• Good interpersonal skills with a collaborative communication style
• Well organized, adept at managing peak workloads with an ability to meet deadlines
• Uncompromising personal integrity, as well as a high level of respect for all individuals
