Position Title: FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER - American Airlines - SFO

Pay Grade: 13

Salary Range: $72,000 – $73,000 per year

This role supports our 16,000 chefs and associates in delivering world‑class meals in corporate cafes, executive dining rooms, on‑site catering, and vending with high standards of quality and innovation.

Job Summary
Our F&B Manager will lead American Airlines Lounge operations at SFO Airport, ensuring guests receive exceptional service and high‑quality food and beverage offerings. The manager will be a utility player, stepping in where needed across front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house areas. Lounge hours require availability on weekends and evenings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure guest satisfaction through efficient service, impactful leadership, and a clean, pleasant environment.
  • Maintain accurate and complete reporting—daily operations, inventory, scheduling.
  • Train, develop, and mentor a dedicated team of associates focused on quality.
  • Create crew schedules and adjust staffing based on labor models and guest traffic.
  • Assist with ordering, accounting, and inventory management of products and supplies.
  • Actively address violations of safety, sanitation, and security policies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in food & beverage management (hotel, restaurant, chain, or multi‑unit).
  • Proficiency in food costing, inventory, and labor cost oversight.
  • Self‑motivation and passion for guest‑service delivery.
  • Experience in a multi‑cultural environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of high‑volume F&B experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate a guest‑centric team.
