Faculty Position Summary::

Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is seeking part time Graphic Design instructors to teach

in person

Graphic Design courses as needed within an AAS: Advertising and Graphic Design degree program. Morning, afternoon and evening courses are possible.

This degree program is housed with the Department of Art & Design alongside a vibrant AFA degree program. Required Education/Experience::

Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related field. Thorough knowledge of current Mac OS and current Adobe Creative Suite software Thorough knowledge and competency to instruct introductory and intermediate levels of graphic design classes.

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills::

Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design or related field Experience with Coding, Web Development and Interactive Media highly preferred.

Utilize College technology for the delivery of instruction and completion of operational processes; this includes but is not limited to the Colleges learning management system, email and calendaring solution, document management system(s), student information system, and employee portals. 6. Meet deadlines, including maintaining and submitting accurate class records, employee records/requests, and other assigned tasks. Duty and Responsibility::

7. When applicable, ensure laboratories are appropriately stocked with required supplies and equipment is in safe operating order. Duty and Responsibility::
