A day in your role
You start your shift reviewing pick tickets and priorities, then stage and sort products so every trailer loads accurately. You navigate NAV with an RF scanner to pick, pull, and prepare orders; assemble pallets; and move materials through shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling. On any given day you might backfill at Pick/Pack, work the Dock, process International shipments, or run UPS/FedEx—whatever it takes to ship with precision and speed. You’ll weigh or count items to confirm standards, pull the manual dock chain when needed, and keep your area clean and safe. You’ll also pitch in on cycle counts, product and shipment labeling, and occasionally coordinate samples and show materials. Throughout, you’re operating forklifts, a cherry picker, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
What you will do
Stage and sort items for trailer loading and unloading
Pick, pull, and prepare orders while maintaining organization
Backfill across stations as needed: Pick/Pack, Dock, International, UPS/FedEx
Maintain a clean, safe work area and pull the manual dock chain as required
Move materials (shrink wrap, box, label) within the warehouse
Use NAV and an RF scanner to process orders and inventory
Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, RF scanners, computers, and printers safely
Assemble customer orders from stock to pallets/shelves for packing and shipping
Weigh or count items to ensure conformance to company standards
Perform accurate cycle counts
Assist with coordinating shows and samples as needed
Assist with product and shipment labeling
Support other tasks and projects assigned by your supervisor or team lead
What you bring
Ability to regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs
Comfort reading and following tickets and processing work instructions
Basic computer proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Proven, safe forklift operation; cherry picker and pallet jack experience a plus
Experience with NAV and RF scanners
Thrives in both hot and cold environments; stands for extended periods
Continuous improvement mindset; familiarity with SOPs, visual inspection aids, Kaizen, and quality control
Background in shipping/receiving, warehousing, material handling, and distribution
Schedule and travel
Full-time, Monday–Thursday, 40+ hours per week. Occasional evenings and weekends as job demands. No travel expected.
Education and certification
Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
: Forklift Certification
Work environment and physical demands
You will stand for long periods and work in hot and cold conditions. This role requires frequent talking/hearing; frequent standing and walking; using hands to finger, handle, or feel; reaching with hands and arms; and occasional sitting, climbing/balancing, and stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling. You will frequently lift and/or move 50+ pounds. Visual abilities include close, distance, , peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
