Job Description:
Full-time Quality Assurance Engineer Level I with 1-3 years experience in a quality assurance testing role to support a mission-focused, rapid solutions and capabilities provider comprised of a diverse team of experts in hardware engineering, software development, systems integration, management, and testing. The Software QA Engineer Level I analyzes, troubleshoots and performs hardware and software testing for military and civil aviation platforms, identifies functional problems, documents and reports test results in a clear and concise method.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze requirements and write concise test cases that evaluate product functionality
Troubleshoot and problem solve complex test scenarios
Execute test cases during test phases
Record and write complete defect reports found during test execution
Apply quality assurance principles and practices in a fast paced, agile development environment
Clearly communicate test results and status both written and verbally
Follow established QA procedures and processes
Participate in daily stand-up meetings and provide status of testing
Recommended Skills and Experience:
1-3 years of experience in a quality assurance test role preferred
Other Relevant Work Experience Will Be Considered
Must be a problem solver, enthusiastic and curious, self-motivated, able to work independently and on a team
Knowledge of software installation, testing, hardware configuration preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-directed and detail-oriented approach to tasks and technical issues
Proven analytical and technical aptitude
Working knowledge of the software development and testing life cycles preferred
Ability to work and deliver under deadlines while handling multiple detail-oriented tasks
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science or related disciplines.
Clearance: Will need to obtain a Secret clearance level
Status:
US Citizenship; Tek Fusion Global does not sponsor Visas

Travel: Domestic and international travel of 25% is potential for this position
