About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated

Pharmacy Technician Authorization Specialist

to join our remote team. In this role, you will work closely with insurance companies, clinicians, pharmacists, and patients to streamline prior authorization approvals, secure financial assistance, and improve medication access and adherence. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed or nationally certified pharmacy technician who thrives in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Communicate with insurance companies and providers to facilitate approval of medications through prior authorizations. Navigate pharmacy dispensing systems to adjudicate claims, process refills, and support patient adherence. Work directly with patients to secure financial assistance for high-dollar co-pays through foundations or manufacturer programs. Review prescriptions with provider offices and ensure accuracy and compliance. Document patient interactions, authorization status, and funding needs across databases, EMRs, and email. Maintain complete and accurate patient records while supporting insurance claim management. Collaborate with pharmacists and pharmacy liaisons to deliver integrated, quality patient care. Qualifications Active

national pharmacy technician certification

- PTCB required 1+ year of pharmacy experience

with prior authorizations required. Strong knowledge of

insurance adjudication

processes. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Collaborative and team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Why Join Us?
