We are currently seeking a
Structural Engineer
to lead and manage diverse structural engineering projects. The role involves overseeing the design and execution of commercial office buildings, multi-story residential developments, storage facilities, public sector buildings, and other similar construction types.
Key Responsibilities Project Leadership:
Manage and oversee the structural design of a wide range of building types utilizing concrete, steel, masonry, and wood for medium- and high-rise construction. Construction Administration:
Supervise construction phase activities, including RFI responses, submittal reviews, and site visits as required. Technical Expertise:
Provide advanced structural design knowledge and support for project design and peer review activities. Project Lifecycle Management:
Oversee all project stagesfrom proposal and scope development through to construction completionensuring deliverables meet client goals and quality standards. Client Collaboration:
Work directly with clients and multidisciplinary design teams to achieve project objectives on time and within scope. Global Team Coordination:
Delegate tasks to international engineering and drafting teams, maintaining close collaboration to meet deadlines and quality expectations. Team Leadership:
Collaborate with engineers across Florida offices to balance workloads and share expertise. Mentorship:
Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering technical growth and professional development.
Expertise In Structural design and analysis for commercial, residential, and public structures Engineering materials including concrete, steel, masonry, and wood Multi-story and high-rise building design Structural modeling and analysis using
ETABS, RISA, SAFE, STAAD, RAM SS, ADAPT, EnerCalc AutoCAD
and
Revit
for design documentation and drafting Managing multidisciplinary teams and complex project workflows
Minimum Qualifications Education:
B.S. in Civil Engineering required; M.S. with structural emphasis preferred Licensure:
Professional Engineer (PE) license required Experience:
Minimum of 10 years in multi-story building design at a structural consulting firm Proven experience managing projects and client relationships Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Demonstrated success working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
