Walmart Account Manager

Planning & Replenishment

will be the primary liaison between our internal teams and Walmarts merchandising and replenishment teams. This role is responsible for managing the sales planning, forecasting, replenishment, and inventory optimization processes to ensure exceptional in-stock performance, minimize markdowns, and drive profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities: Account Management & Communication Serve as the day-to-day contact for Walmarts planning, buying, and replenishment teams. Build and maintain strong relationships with Walmart stakeholders to align on inventory plans and sales strategies. Collaborate with internal teams (sales, design, production, logistics) to ensure accurate and timely product delivery and execution. Create, update and communicate weekly sales reporting (vs plan, budget, etc) internal and to WM buying teams. Conduct weekly communication with WM Merchant, Planning,Replenishment, ecomm teams. Help facilitate the item creation process between the item creation team and Walmart Planning & Forecasting Develop and manage weekly, monthly, and seasonal sales forecasts in alignment with Walmarts demand plans. Monitor sales trends, inventory levels, and replenishment metrics to optimize product flow and prevent out-of-stocks or overstocks. Provide Walmart with regular business updates, recaps, and strategic recommendations based on performance insights. Planning - Ladder Plans (pre-season projections/in season re-projections), MD analysis, budgets, detailed size/color selling analysis. Replenishment & Supply Chain Coordination Manage item setup, replenishment parameters, and system integrity within Walmart Retail Link and other relevant portals. Partner with internal production and logistics teams to ensure accurate PO execution and on-time shipments. Monitor and manage OTIF (On Time In Full), fill rates, and inventory turn targets. Replenishment - Forecasting, Order Analysis, GRS Replenishment, Production Planning, Instock, Reporting & Analytics Analyze POS data, inventory reports, and replenishment trends to drive actionable insights. Prepare weekly and monthly recaps including recommendations for markdowns, promotions, or re-buys. Support seasonal line planning and SKU rationalization efforts. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Business, Merchandising, Supply Chain, or related field. 3+ years of experience in account management, planning, or replenishment

preferably with Walmart. Strong knowledge of Walmart Retail Link, NOVA, Excel, AEX, Scintilla, Supplier One, Decision Support, SQEP, and replenishment systems. Experience in fashion apparel or consumer products is highly preferred. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
