About You Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Analyst- General Accounting to join our General Accounting team, supporting the product divisions. This role is responsible for managing general ledger activities, division expense reporting, SAP allocations, Distribution Center cost centers, inventory schedules, and promotional subsidy analysis. The Analyst- General Accounting will play a key role in period-end close processes, journal entry preparation, and financial reporting, while collaborating cross-functionally with Corporate Finance, Procurement, Financial Reporting, and Operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, analytical capabilities, and a collaborative mindset to support accurate and timely financial reporting and close.

Essential Functions Additional Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prepare and post monthly general ledger journal entries. Monthly Profit and Loss review and bottom lines. Perform account reconciliations, support period-end and quarter-end balance sheet reviews. Monitor trends and fluctuations in account balances to proactively identify risks and recommend corrective actions. Partner with Accounting and operational teams to strengthen internal controls and improve reconciliation processes. Identify and contribute to automation of reconciliation processes and enhancement of reporting tools. Weekly divisional promo & subsidy reporting Maintain and reconcile weekly/ monthly divisional subsidy files for Procurement review and follow-up. Weekly billing processes for subsidy, Price Plus, and digital promotions. Support audit processes by providing documentation and responding to inquiries. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements. Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed. Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support departmental goals.

Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or progress toward certification preferred. 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail. Consistent performance rating of On Target or better in the last two performance appraisals.

Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000. Placement in the range depends on several factors, including experience, skills, education, geography, and budget considerations.
