Richelieu Foods, Inc., a Freiberger Group Company, is a leading supplier of high-quality food products to the private label and food service industries. The company has locations across the Midwest with two manufacturing centers that produce frozen & deli pizza, and pizza crusts.
At Richelieu Foods we make Great Food from Great People. We are looking for a 1st Shift Material Handler.This position is based out of our Beaver Dam, WI location.
Essential Functions
• Transport all needed supplies correctly and on time to required line or pre-batch area.
• Communicate with internal customers to determine proper quantities and placement of items needed.
• Responsible for complying with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), maintaining proper sanitation and housekeeping in area.
• Properly put away any warehouse loads.
• Communicate and coordinate with other Material Handlers to ensure efficient operation of the department.
• Inform proper departments or supervisors of any issues or concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Create and Receive TOP's \ POP's if needed.
• Schedule appointments \ answer emails and phone calls.
Basic Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 Years of consistent and safe forklift operation on a stand-up forklift.
• The ability to read and understand Line schedules and material needs.
• Positive attendance record.
• Safe operation of stand-up and sit-down fork truck.
• Basic computer skills.
Desired Qualifications
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.
• Previous experience in shipping and receiving is a plus.

• Ability to work cooperatively and maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written required.
• Good organizational skills required.

The expected compensation for this role is $18.32 per hour. This role is also eligible for overtime compensation.
