Dean of Nursing / Administrator
Salary Range: $110,000–$115,000 annually
Schedule: Full-Time | Academic Leadership | Onsite
Requirements to Apply
- Master’s degree in Nursing (Doctorate or DNP preferred)
- Current or eligible Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Dakota
- Minimum of 2 years of full-time nursing faculty teaching experience within the past 5 years
- 3–5 years of progressive leadership or management experience in an academic or clinical setting
- At least 2 years of direct patient care experience as a practicing nurse
- Proven expertise in curriculum development, accreditation, and regulatory compliance
- Exceptional communication, mentoring, and organizational leadership skills

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and visionary leadership for all nursing academic programs and operations
- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate nursing faculty and adjunct instructors to sustain a culture of academic excellence
- Oversee curriculum design, implementation, and assessment aligned with accreditation standards
- Ensure compliance with North Dakota Board of Nursing regulations and institutional policies
- Develop and maintain partnerships with clinical sites, hospitals, and community organizations
- Lead initiatives to improve NCLEX pass rates, graduation outcomes, and student retention
- Foster an inclusive, student-centered learning environment that promotes engagement and success
- Oversee budgeting, staffing, and resource planning for the School of Nursing
- Represent the program at academic ceremonies, conferences, and community events
