Job Title: Material Handler - Reach Truck Driver (Racks)
Reports To: Receiving Supervisor
Location: East Plant
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Drive reach truck to keep warehouse staging organized and to pull parts and components for staging areas. Perform inventory transactions using RF scanners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for 5S Move and return parts to correct locations using a Reach truck Understand that the component cage and racks are a controlled area Transfer product to and from correct locations using an RF scanner Verify part number and quantity vs JDE label Pull and transfer/reclass parts from dock/racks using a Reach truck for tugger route/assembly staging area to run smooth Use shrink wrapper to wrap full pallets of returnable dunnage Move empty baskets/totes to staging area so they can be sent out Communication during shift change about pertinent information Any other duties assigned by team leader or supervisor REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND ABILITIES:
6 months experience in a manufacturing environment Previous reach truck experience preferred Excellent verbal & written communications skills Good problem solving skills High School Diploma
