To support Senior Human Resource personnel in carrying out the responsibilities of the Human Resource Department with specific emphasis on recruitment and retention priorities. To collaborate with the Talent Specialist with an emphasis on Spanish speaking candidates and new-hires.

To support Senior Human Resource personnel in carrying out the responsibilities of the Human Resource Department with specific emphasis on recruitment and retention priorities. To collaborate with the Talent Specialist with an emphasis on Spanish speaking candidates and new-hires.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supporting the Talent Specialist with the following:
- Communicate with the various Department Managers/Supervisors to identify position vacancies or additions in the department.
- Maintain and update position descriptions for all positions within the organization.
- Assist with the internal job postings in accordance with the Job Posting Policy.
- Advertise job openings on the internet, social media, local publications and other mediums.
- Accommodate walk-in and call-in employment inquiries with a concentration on Spanish speaking candidates.
- Pre-screen Spanish speaking candidates and others in order to determine the most qualified candidates for each position
- Coordinate and carry out facility tours describing in detail everything from organizational framework to specific job responsibilities
- Educate candidates on the job requirements of each particular position
- Educate candidates on the benefit package of the organization, the ESOP, the value of the ESOP, growth potential and the overall company culture.
- Facilitate interviews by Department managers.
- Otherwise provide assistance in the hiring process.
- Assist with pre-employment testing and background checks.
- Assist with on-boarding practices to insure smooth transition into KCC employment.
- Track and collect data on retention of new hires for continuous improvement purposes.
- Perform such other recruiting, hiring and retention tasks as may be required from time to time - quite often on short notice-by Senior Human Resource Personnel.
- Must be bilingual-fluent in Spanish and English, both written and verbal communication
- Must be a self-starter
- Must be skilled in the use of the internet and social media.
- Must be skilled in Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook and other products
- Must be skilled in use of MS Products and must be a very good writer in order to handle the occasional administrative needs of the department.
- Must have very good verbal skills.
- Must have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures.
