Job Summary

The Workday Integration Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, documenting, and maintaining integrations and applications that support key business operations. This role works closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions that align with organizational standards and the defined Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain new financial integrations within the Workday architecture. Understand and integrate data across both Workday and non-Workday systems; collaborate effectively with multiple software development teams. Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, testing, deployment, and integration. Conduct component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, and technical evaluations. Develop clear and detailed technical documentation, including design and functional specifications. Support inbound and outbound Workday integrations, handle incident management, and implement fixes or enhancements as needed. Assist with system maintenance, version updates, patching, and upgrades. Research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance efficiency and quality. Exhibit strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills in a dynamic environment. Adhere to cybersecurity and data governance standards. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Workday integrations, providing technical guidance to project teams and stakeholders. Advise management on technical strategies and ensure delivery against service level objectives while maintaining long-term system maintainability. Lead and mentor other developers through design, architecture, and implementation phases. Work on complex technical challenges requiring creative and analytical solutions. Provide leadership during planning and design sessions and ensure compliance with technical standards. May oversee workload distribution, training, and coaching of team members. Job Skills Required

Minimum 2(Level 2)/5(senior)/8(Lead) years of relevant Workday integration experience depending on level Proficiency with Workday integrations, including Workday Studio, Cloud Connect, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Calculated Fields, Business Processes, Security Framework, and BIRT Reporting Experience supporting and troubleshooting integrations between Workday and external systems Strong understanding of REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, XSLT, and related integration technologies Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills Workday Prism Analytics experience Background in financial systems such as Treasury/Banking, Settlements and Billing, Collateral and Credit Management, or BlackLine Cash Application Experience with: Java, Oracle PL/SQL, OpenShift/Kubernetes, Docker Containers, Git, Maven, Jenkins, Ansible Tower, Splunk, Dynatrace, or other monitoring tools, Linux environments Experience optimizing system performance and automation processes Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, MIS, or a related field Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education Salary

$122,000 per year and higher depending on experience Additional Requirements

Hybrid schedule based in Taylor, TX - minimum of two (2) days on-site per week, with the option for additional on-site work as desired. Remote work must be performed from within the state of Texas. Schedule flexibility and rotation may be adjusted based on business needs.
