Position:

Shipping / Receiving Clerk (Temporary - 90 days)

Location:

Irvine, CA - Onsite Required

Position Description:

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Temporary Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our logistics team. The person in this position will play a key role in the receiving and shipping of goods for DZYNE Technologies business operations. This position plays a key role in supporting daily operations by handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring materials and products are moved efficiently and in compliance with all applicable regulations.

Responsibilities:

Receive incoming shipments, inspect materials for damage or discrepancies, and verify contents against packing slips and purchase orders Accurately record received items in the inventory management system Prepare and package outgoing shipments in accordance with customer requirements, company procedures, and applicable ITAR standards Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries; generate shipping labels and required documentation (e.g., bills of lading, export documents) Maintain a clean and organized shipping/receiving area; follow all safety protocols and company procedures Conduct routine inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as needed Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records Scan documents per procedures in to archive files Maintain records to be ready for audit at all times Pack items for safe shipment per commercial standards and Mil-STD as requested Use a forklift or other MHE to move products on and off trucks and/or loading docks while following all required company safety standards, policies, and procedures Work closely with Production, Quality Control, and Procurement teams to ensure materials are delivered on time and accurately documented Required Skills:

Familiarity with shipping software (e.g., FedEx, UPS systems) and ERP or inventory management systems Understanding of export control regulations, including ITAR and EAR, preferred Forklift certification or ability to obtain one Able to safely and efficiently use all MHE (material handling equipment) including forklifts. Must obtain and maintain Hazmat training and certification credentials Must attend training and be certified within a reasonable time to ship special commodity items like Lithium batteries and hazmat Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations Experience in a defense or aerospace environment is a strong plus Other Requirements: It is an essential requirement for the person in this role to have a legal right to work in the United States and be eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization and DoD Clearance.

Hourly Rate:

$25-30.00 per hour

Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus. The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus.
