Shipping/Receiving Clerk
Job Location: Sonoma, California
Job Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: $22-$22.50/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am-4:30pm
Description of Position:
Do you have experience as a Shipping/Receiving Clerk? Our client in Sonoma is seeking a dependable and reliable Packing/Shipping Clerk to join their team. While prior packing experience is ideal, training will be provided for the right candidate who can pick things up quickly.
Job Responsibilities:
Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments Prepare items for shipment and ensure accuracy of packaging Compare identifying information and counts, weights, or measures against bill of lading, invoices, or orders Determine method of shipment using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates Inspect products for defects and accuracy before shipment Post outbound deliveries using designated software Pull, pack, and ship finished goods in a timely manner Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and record accurately Ensure product codes and paperwork match the product Operate forklift to move shipments from storage to pallets Perform daily cycle counting of assigned areas

High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a warehouse environment required Forklift experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Dependable, reliable, and able to work independently
