Overview About this Position:

We’re looking for a Media Planner to develop smart, effective media plans across multiple Lexus Dealership Association (aka LDA) regional markets. You’ll tap into local media habits, consumer behavior, and marketplace trends to build strategies that deliver real impact. In this role, you’ll guide Assistant Media Planners, collaborate closely with Account teams, and use tools like Nielsen, ComScore, IHS, and Kantar to keep plans sharp and informed. You’ll also help drive larger LDA initiatives, explore new media opportunities, and ensure flawless campaign execution.

What You’ll Do

Develop and present media plans across multiple smaller markets

Manage assigned market financials / budgets including flowcharts, billing discrepancies / reconciliations, and vendor negotiations

Train, mentor and assist Assistant Media Planner with delegated responsibilities

Execute responsibilities for assigned markets including but not limited to:

Issue Goal entries and Buy Authorizations for local buys

Review and approve Spot Buys for accuracy based on provided guidelines

Develop Heavy Up / Cut recommendations

Maintain digital buys and compile /analyze metrics reports

Ensure accuracy and timely updates of the Master Planning Sheets

Develop POV evaluations

Maintain regular communication with account teams and media buyers / vendors to foster strong working relationships

Strengthen presentation skills through internal and client-facing opportunities

Lead special projects as assigned

Travel as needed to client and agency meetings and initiatives

What You Bring

A Bachelor’s degree

Two years of advertising or transferable experience

Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Experience working with MediaOcean (OX), Mediatools/Guideline, Prisma or equivalent programs

Strong communication skills - both written and verbal

Ability to build rapport and strong collaborative relationships with internal teams and external vendors and partners

Compensation Range: $49,305.00- $65,415.00. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
