Heavy Equipment

Technician/Mechanic

to join our team in

St. Louis, MO

.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Responsibilities Running diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairing of hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and fuel systems on heavy construction equipment. Completes all required preventative maintenance operations including lubrications, fluid changes, and minor diesel engine maintenance. Completes accurate written records of work performed. Provide education to customers on equipment operation and performance. Travel within assigned region, as needed, to customer job sites to provide equipment training, maintenance, and repairs. Mentor and train apprentice

Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED Must be 18 years of age or older; Valid driver's license with clean MVR One (1) or more years of relevant heavy equipment maintenance experience or two (2) years of technical training. Familiar and / or experience with heavy machinery, hydraulics, electrical system repair and maintenance. Must be able to read hydraulic and electrical schematics and digital voltmeters (DVMs) and working kinematics. CANbus and PLC knowledge. Must provide own tools that are adequate to perform job functions. Preferred Requirements: Vocational/Technical

degree; Mechanical or Electrical degree Five (5+) years of construction heavy equipment experience Welding experience Applicants are subject to background check, drug testing and physical exam.
