Position Summary Medical Innovations is an established 30-year-old disposable medical supply wholesaler focused on expansion into the direct to practitioner market. We are seeking a results-driven, strategic, and experienced Director of Sales to lead our national sales team focused on the distribution of quality and affordable alternatives to major brands for disposable medical supplies for our direct to practitioner division. This role will be responsible for developing and executing a scalable, data-driven sales strategy and working alongside our Director of Business Development. Other responsibilities include curating our portfolio of manufacturer and brand partners, training and managing high-performing sales teams, determining pricing strategies, and driving revenue growth in an increasingly competitive market.

Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Execution Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company goals and revenue targets. Leverage data analytics and KPIs to refine sales tactics and optimize customer targeting and conversion. Identify new market opportunities such as which medical fields to spearhead expansion into as well as manufacturer and brand partners to collaborate with. Team Leadership & Management Lead, inspire, and scale a team of account representatives and support staff. Foster a performance-driven culture through coaching, mentorship, and professional development. Establish and monitor individual and team performance metrics, ensuring accountability and excellence. Business Development & Account Management Cultivate strong relationships with decision-makers at hospitals, clinics, distributors, and partner manufacturers. Drive the growth of partner manufacturers by creating tailored value propositions for target customers. Represent the company at key industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings. CRM & Sales Operations Oversee and ensure full utilization of Salesforce CRM for pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting. Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to streamline lead generation, quoting, and fulfillment processes. Own the sales forecast and deliver accurate projections to executive leadership. Qualifications Required: 10+ years of experience in B2B sales within the medical supply field, with a focus on disposable medical products. Prior experience working in or selling for an OEM or lesser-known brand. Demonstrated success using data-driven strategies to drive market share and penetrate new accounts. Proficiency in Salesforce and related sales analytics tools. 5+ years of leadership experience, managing multi-regional or national sales teams. Preferred: MBA or advanced degree in Business, Sales Management, or related field. Experience navigating GPOs, IDNs, and other complex healthcare procurement ecosystems. Experience working with customers offering alternative brands compared to the major brands. Track record of introducing innovative products into conservative healthcare markets.

Pay: $110,000 - $125,000.00 per year
