The
Inventory Specialist
will support the Portable/Inventory Team with inventory management. This role has a strong focus on accurate management and tracking of client trade show and event assets. Over time, there will be continued support in the Portable Department's advancement and growth once the inventory project is completed.
Key Responsibilities:
Help build an accurate inventory of new and existing items in our Electronic Inventory Management System (ExhibitForce) by creating records that include descriptions, photographs and other details of the items.
Assist in the process of inventorying all client properties that are stored in our warehouse, ensuring accurate tracking and contributing to the overall organizational goals.
Barcode inventory items using the inventory system in place (ExhibitForce).
Collaborate with Warehouse Service Technicians, Shop/Building Staff, and the Portable/Inventory Team to develop and implement organizational strategies for items stored in our warehouse.
Work with Portable/Inventory Team to better understand inventory needs for each client.
Completes reports on the disposition of items and provides recommendations for repair and disposal.
Other duties as assigned as it relates to the inventory project.
What we're looking for:
minimum of 1-3 years' experience in inventory management.
Prior experience in trade show or event planning is a plus.
Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The ability to follow through and meet deadlines is a must.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
Proactive and able to problem solve and work independently.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Knowledge in ExhibitForce is a plus but not required, willingness to learn the program is a must.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
