Position Details: X-Ray/ CT Technologist- Washington Court House, OH Location : Washington Court House, OH 43160 Project Duration : 6 weeks Shift :

4 -10 hour dayshift/mid-shift May be required to stay over if there is a call off. OT may be offered. Every 6th weekend. Job Description: Position Summary: The X-Ray/CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures including radiographs and CT scans to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The technologist will collaborate closely with radiologists, the radiology supervisor, and other clinical staff to ensure safe and effective imaging practices. The position involves direct patient care, access to confidential information, and decision-making both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities: Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and department protocols. Ensure proper patient identification, safety screening, and comfort before, during, and after procedures. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to produce accurate, diagnostic-quality images. Monitor and adjust imaging equipment to maintain optimal performance and image quality. Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control procedures at all times. Evaluate images for clarity, completeness, and diagnostic quality before submission. Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in the EPIC system. Assist with developing and implementing department procedures and protocols. Participate in rotating weekend shifts (every 6th weekend) and provide coverage as needed for call-offs. Perform independent work as required and assist in other imaging modalities if needed.

Qualifications & Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or CT Imaging program. ARRT certification in Radiography and CT (or registry eligible). Current BLS certification required. Toshiba equipment experience preferred. EPIC system knowledge preferred. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging preferred. Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging techniques. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient care skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a clinical setting.
