Position Overview: A cutting-edge aerospace company is seeking a
Senior PX4 Software Engineer
to lead flight control software development for VTOL UAVs. This role focuses on
PX4 customization, flight stack optimization, and integration
across mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities: Lead development and customization of PX4 flight stack for VTOL platforms. Design and implement custom flight modes and control algorithms. Maintain flight control parameter optimization during VTOL transitions. Integrate autopilot with payloads, ground control stations, and other systems. Develop automated testing frameworks for flight software and participate in flight testing. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Robotics, Computer Science, or related technical field. 8+ years software development experience in robotics or aerospace systems. 5+ years experience with PX4 or similar flight control systems. Strong C++ skills for real-time embedded systems. Experience with VTOL aircraft systems, flight testing, and control theory. Preferred:
Master's in Aerospace, Robotics, or related field. Familiarity with ROS2, jMAVSim/Gazebo simulation, MAVLink, CI/CD for embedded systems. Knowledge of computer vision, autonomous navigation, or trajectory optimization.
