We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Automotive Title Clerk to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing vehicle titles, registrations, and related documentation with accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit title documents to the DMV for new and used vehicle sales
Verify accuracy of vehicle sales paperwork, including VINs, odometer readings, and lien information
Process title transfers,registrations, and payoff documentation
Maintain records of all title transactions and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Communicate with customers, banks and the DMV to resolve title issues
Assist with inventory audits and vehicle record maintenance
Support the accounting and sales departments with administrative tasks as needed
Bill wholesale deals and dealer swaps
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
Prior experience in automotive title processing or dealership administration (1+ years preferred)
Familiarity with DMV procedure and title regulations
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Proficiency in dealership management software (Automate preferred but not necessary)
