The
Mailroom, Shipping & Receiving Support Specialist
provides daily operational support for the mailroom, shipping and receiving, and facilities functions. This position ensures timely mail distribution, accurate delivery tracking, smooth office operations, and a clean, organized work environment. The role also supports facility coordination activities such as office moves, access control management, and general administrative support. Key Responsibilities Pick up, sort, and distribute mail daily; log and document all incoming deliveries. Sort mail according to destination and type (e.g., returned letters, adjustments, bills, orders, payments). Readdress and reprocess undeliverable mail with incomplete or incorrect addresses. Examine outgoing mail for proper appearance, sealing, and postage accuracy. Stamp outgoing mail by hand or with a postage meter; weigh mail to verify correct postage. Maintain accurate shipping and mailing records, including USPS and FedEx accounts. Order and track mailroom and shipping supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels. Train associates on proper mailroom and equipment procedures. Safely operate company vehicles while complying with all traffic laws. Troubleshoot multi-function printer (MFP) issues; coordinate repairs with vendors and maintain supply inventory. Support facilities operations by assigning office space, coordinating inter-office moves, and assisting with employee onboarding and exits. Serve as
System Administrator
for facilities databases (vehicle/parking info, seat assignments, evacuation plans, mail stop locations). Operate the
enterprise security access control system ; create, update, and deactivate access cards. Partner with cross-functional teams to plan and set up internal and external meetings. Assist with building inspections, maintenance tasks, and emergency procedures as needed. Complete additional facilities-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred. Experience:
1-2 years of related mailroom, facilities, or office operations experience. Familiarity with
multi-function printers
and
FedEx/USPS processes
a plus. Proficient with
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer ; experience with
Google Workspace
preferred. Must possess a
valid driver's license

Pay Details:
$22.00 to $28.00 per hour
