Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our Finishing Team. This role's primary functions will include shipping and receiving, tending to anneal ovens, operate machines, and installing hardware/light assembly.

Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments

Prepare and package outgoing orders

Prepare documentation for shipments (domestic and internationally)

Arrange for shipments using UPS and FedEx

Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping logs

Tend to anneal ovens and monitor temperature cycles

Operate various machines as part of the manufacturing process

Install hardware and perform light assembly of components

Wash and clean plastic parts

Hand deburring, ice deburring, soda blasting, scraping of plastic parts using knives, scrapers, and small hand tools.

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Maintain organized records

Operate equipment in a safe manner. Maintain awareness of process, report areas of concern to Supervisor.

Follows verbal and/or written instructions such as blueprints and direction from Supervisor. Understand and read blueprints, i.e. part views, definitions and foot notes.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

1+ years' experience in Shipping and Receiving

Core Competencies:

Computer skills required for retrieving job instruction, recording inspection data, and timesheet reporting

Ability to multi-task and time management skills. Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Able to work in a team environment; good interpersonal and communication skills.

Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Have strong eye to hand coordination and dexterity

Preferences:

Familiarity using UPS WorldShip software, and FedEx websites

Understanding of packing slips and shipping paperwork

Efficient using computers with Microsoft Word and Excel

Experience in working with and precision machining of plastics

Experience in a machine shop or deburring environment.

ERP system usage/knowledge a plus

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:

This position will be based at our site in Milford, NH no travel.
