Lead Shipping/Receiving Specialist
to join our team in

The Shipping & Receiving Specialist completes initial part verification and identification on outgoing shipments according to shipping processes and procedures. Processes and confirms receipt/shipping documentation for internal/external customers.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for the receipt and shipment of incoming materials, supplies, and products. Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition. Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures. Research and resolve discrepancies between actual product and associated documentation. Records information as it pertains to shipments, including weight, charges, damages, or any discrepancies. Research and record on time delivery and dept. metrics. Completes special projects and other duties as assigned. Oversees resolution of incoming/outgoing shipment discrepancies. Escalates critical issues to the appropriate level and engages with the correct stakeholders. Leads coordination and confirmation of receipt/shipping documentation for internal/external customers. Serves as point of contact for priority incoming/outgoing shipments. Monitors shipping/receiving discrepancies. Develops solutions to mitigate errors. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
6-8 years of related work experience 1-3 years of supervisory experience Current valid driver's license with clean driving record Experience in International trade, export, and logistics Ability to fluently read, write, and speak English Proficient MS Office applications ability Warehouse Experience Experience operating material handling equipment Analytical and reporting skills Ability to solve complex issues Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
