The Beverage Cart Attendant is primarily responsible for the smooth functioning and service aspect of a full-serviced beverage cart in the resort golf course. The Beverage Cart Attendant is responsible for delivering the highest caliber of Five Diamond service to golf guests in an upbeat, lively environment. They create a professional atmosphere that is inviting for guests, promoting and enhancing the offerings of a wide range of quality beverages and other spirits, as well as menu items. The Beverage Cart Attendant must have an exceptional working knowledge of alcoholic beverage offerings and the ability to create drinks according to guests' requests. They require an approachable, congenial, engaging personality and the ability to relate and converse with all types of people. They monitor consumption of guests and follows TIPs protocols to ensure a safe environment. Lastly, they work cohesively with F&B team members and management to ensure a seamless guest experience.

To perform this job successfully, the incumbent will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently. Some requirements may exclude individuals who pose a direct threat or significant risk to the health and safety of themselves, other associates or guests.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum two (2) years' experience as a Bartender and/or F&B Experience; preferably in a Golf Course environment. Valid California Driver's License. Fluency in the English language. Professional appearance and demeanor. Thorough knowledge of proper service. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Exude a warm and sincere approach to guest service. Enjoy working in a fast paced, sometimes noisy environment. Ability to provide service efficiently while conveying a warm and friendly demeanor. High energy, flexible and adaptable. Ability to "read" the guest and anticipate guest needs. Ability to remember orders with accuracy. Ability to memorize menu and drink items. Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment. Ability to exercise patience and diplomacy. Ability to multi-task. Take initiative. Ability to work without constant, direct supervision. Experience with Food & Beverage Point-of-Sale Systems. Desirable:
Designation from an accredited bartending school. Experience in hospitality/restaurant industry in similar position. TIPs and Food Handlers certification. Fluency in a foreign language, preferably Spanish. CPR certification. Previous guest relations training. Experience with Micros POS. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

Offer our golf guests in the course expertly served beverage/dining experience. Dispense, serve, and/or mix all beverages in a timely and efficient manner. Engage with and anticipate the needs of guests Ascertain guests' satisfaction and attempt to handle guest issues, notifying manager when necessary. Complete opening and closing side work as assigned by leadership. Utilize the point-of-sale system to print and close checks and handle cash transactions according to OVI&S protocols. Responsible for proper cash handling procedures and bank reconciliation, properly process daily reports. Ensure cleanliness throughout the shift of the beverage cart.
