For further inquiries regarding the following opportunity, please contact our Talent Specialist: Balaji at (630) 847-1776 Title: Automation Technician (2 Positions) Duration: 12 Months Location: Concord, NC Description: Training on 1st shift then moving to Dupont schedule (working 14 days per month).
Summary: This position will support the automation systems in the warehouse area of Client's Concord Optical Fiber plant, working directly with the equipment and systems responsible for order fulfillment. After an initial training period (M-F, 8am 4pm), the work schedule will follow a 12-hour day/night rotation in accordance with Client's production shift schedule. Primary Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide array of automation system in the warehouse area including, mini load AS/RS cranes, Fanuc robots, various roller conveyors, and automation devices. Utilize PLC code to solve more advanced production issues Utilize a Fanuc Teach Pendant to troubleshoot robotic automation cells Work with the operations team to ensure all processes and equipment are running smoothly and any issues are resolved in a timely manner. Work with the engineering team on advanced support issues or process improvement projects. Ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed thoroughly. Qualifications: Education: A.A.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology Hands-on experience with Fanuc robots and conveyor systems Ability to navigate and interpret PLC code In lieu of a degree, 5 years hands-on experience with robots, PLCs, AC/DC and servo motors, pneumatic systems, sensors, valves, and other automation related equipment Windows PC and Office Suite proficiency (Excel, Word) Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to work safely around automated equipment Soft Skills: Safety conscious Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and in small teams Ability to multi-task with strong organizational skills Results driven About us: DivIHN , the 'IT Asset Performance Services' organization, provides Professional Consulting, Custom Projects, and Professional Resource Augmentation services to clients in the Mid-West and beyond.
