Overview

The client is DivIHN Integration Inc. and they are seeking an Automation Technician (2 Positions) in Concord, NC. Duration: 12 Months. Training on 1st shift with transition to a 12-hour day/night rotation per client’s production shift schedule. Application details: Apply via Dice. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automation systems in the warehouse area, including mini-load AS/RS cranes, Fanuc robots, conveyors, and related automation devices. Work with mechanical and electrical systems in automation. Handle Fanuc robots and other automated machines; troubleshoot robot issues and fix automation problems. Read, write, and fix PLC programs; utilize PLC code to solve advanced production issues; work with PLC logic and codes. Utilize a Fanuc Teach Pendant to troubleshoot robotic automation cells. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure processes and equipment run smoothly and resolve issues promptly. Collaborate with the engineering team on advanced support issues and process improvement projects. Ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed thoroughly. Qualifications
Education: A.A.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology (Required). Hands-on experience with Fanuc robots and conveyor systems. Ability to navigate and interpret PLC code. Robotics experience with Fanuc, Kuka, Motoman. In lieu of a degree, 5+ years of hands-on experience with robots, PLCs, AC/DC and servo motors, pneumatic systems, sensors, valves, and other automation equipment. Windows PC and Office Suite proficiency (Excel, Word). Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to work safely around automated equipment. Soft Skills
Safety conscious. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in small teams. Ability to multi-task with strong organizational skills. Results driven. Interview
