Infusion Pharmacist Compensation The pay for this position is
$64.27 per hour
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment (health, dental, vision, life, and short-term disability)
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Infusion Pharmacist Highlights This position is a
contract assignment
with potential to hire permanently based on attendance, performance, and business needs
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: On-site in Woodridge, IL
Infusion Pharmacist Responsibilities Accept, review, and dispense prescription medications accurately and in compliance with state and federal regulations
Ensure prescribed medications are suitable and that all dispensing adheres to legal and professional standards
Monitor patient medication compliance, usage patterns, and potential adverse reactions
Maintain accurate and confidential patient and pharmacy records
Counsel patients on proper medication usage, side effects, and interactions
Provide consultations for over-the-counter medications, dosage, and storage
Support patient wellness through education and services such as blood pressure monitoring, smoking cessation, and cholesterol management
Compound and prepare sterile and non-sterile medications following established procedures
Supervise and guide pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks
Manage inventory of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Infusion Pharmacist Requirements Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree required
Licensure: Active Illinois Pharmacist License in good standing
Experience: Previous experience in home infusion pharmacy required
Software: Experience with CPR+ software strongly preferred
Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and clinical judgment skills
Attendance: Mandatory attendance during the first 90 days
