Principal
to begin July 1, 2026. As the school’s
chief academic officer , the principal plays a vital leadership role in ensuring the school’s mission as a
Catholic, college-preparatory high school forming men of faith and men of character . This is a unique opportunity to lead one of the region’s most respected Catholic college-preparatory high schools, serving a diverse and talented student body in a vibrant, faith-centered environment. Trinity has a proud tradition of academic excellence, student-centered innovation, and a strong commitment to forming young men through academics, faith, service, and leadership. Position Summary
The principal reports directly to the president and is responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all academic programs, while fostering a warm, inclusive, and mission-driven learning environment. The principal must be Catholic, mature in faith, and passionate about the formation of young people. In addition to overseeing curriculum and instruction, the principal ensures the infusion of faith, values, and spirituality throughout the academic experience, and plays a key role in strategic planning, faculty development, and communication with families and the broader community. Key Responsibilities
I. Mission and Philosophy
Ensure all academic programs and initiatives reflect and support the mission of Trinity High School. Promote a culture that supports the Catholic identity and educational philosophy of the school. Engage in long-range planning to support institutional growth and excellence. II. School Operations
Serve as Chief Academic Officer, responsible for all educational programming. Collaborate with assistant principals, faculty, and staff in developing and implementing effective academic policies and procedures. Supervise the academic program, counseling services, professional development, and co-curricular activities. Support hiring, onboarding, and mentoring of faculty and staff. III. Visibility and Communication
Serve as a visible and accessible leader to faculty, staff, students, and families. Ensure clear and consistent communication with families regarding academic programs and school life. Represent the school with professionalism and integrity in internal and external communications. Minimum Qualifications
Master’s Degree Certification in Secondary School Principalship (or ability to obtain certification within three [3] years of hire) Minimum five (5) years of teaching experience Minimum five (5) years of school administration experience Practicing Catholic in good standing, committed to the Church’s mission in education Demonstrated experience in attracting, retaining, and supporting quality educators Desirable Attributes
