Looking for a part-time job? Come work for the Show Place Arena/Prince George's Equestrian Center in Upper Marlboro, MD! The Show Place Arena/Prince George's Equestrian Center is a multipurpose facility owned and operated by The Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission under the Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George’s County. Our facility operations team is responsible for maintaining the building, grounds, and equipment, to ensure they function efficiently in order to provide a productive and safe environment. Salary

Salary range of $16.00/hour - $18.00/hour depending on position and experience. Responsibilities

Custodial and Event Support Assistant: Cleans and stocks bathrooms and maintains supplies during events. Empties trash and ash cans and office recyclable materials. General cleaning of the facility. Cleans around the buildings and parking lots. Custodial and Event Support Specialist: Performs all duties of the Custodial and Event Support Assistant in addition to setting up and tearing down events. Keeps ramps and sidewalks free of snow and debris. May be required to clean horse stalls and perform general maintenance of buildings. Requirements

Ability to lift 25 lbs (25 lbs for Assistant; 50 lbs for Specialist). Must have the ability to effectively interact with the public and provide courteous service. Must be able to work evenings and/or nights, including weekends. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older. Work Hours

Work hours are flexible and include evenings, nights and weekends. Supplemental Information
