The ideal candidate will be able to problem solve and design both as part of a collaborative team and independently. To be successful in this role, you must have a mathematical background, a solid understanding of engineering principles (hydrology, grading, etc.), and a strong interest in site development. Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is expected. Responsibilities
Work in tandem with Civil Engineers, Architects, Development, Construction and Consultants to develop documentation for coordination and construction. Participate in creating a complete and thorough set of site documents to meet project goals, milestones and schedule. Assist in site design and plan preparation to depict site layouts, grading, stormwater management, erosion control and utilities. Participate in site design meetings, consultant meetings and project team meetings. Gather background site data from online resources. Assist in analyzing site constraints. Assist in zoning code reviews and researching agency requirements. Perform basic CAD drafting tasks and engineering calculations. Seek guidance on unusual or complex issues and apply basic design principles. Collaborate effectively with the team to execute tasks. Contribute to Ryan culture through participation in office activities, initiatives and learning programs. Establish and pursue annual goals based on personal, professional and company growth in the industry. Participate in Ryan Companies’ and Ryan A+E’s 5-year vision/initiatives and 1-year business plans and goals. You Will Really Stand Out If You Have
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. At least 2 years of similar experience. Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam (EIT) in the state of employment. LEED AP designation. Eligibility
Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S. Compensation
The base pay range is $62,000.00-$77,800.00/Annually. Salary may vary within the range based on location and candidate qualifications. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program. Benefits
