Base pay range $55.00/hr - $60.00/hr

Akkodis is seeking a Software Engineer for a client in Dearborn, Michigan.

Rate Range: $55.00/hour to $60.00/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

This role is on-site, 5 days per week.

Please note, we cannot work on C2C basis for this opportunity.

Requirements

6+ years of experience as a software engineer, with at least 3 of those years working with Python.

Experience in creating Python APIs and general RESTful API development.

Experience in creating/accessing REST APIs for data monitoring and manipulation across various systems.

Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its various tools preferred; we will also consider good experience in Amazon Web Services and Azure in lieu.

Good knowledge in relational databases, including writing SQL queries.

Experience working with Github, JIRA and CI/CD Pipelines (Git Actions, Jenkins).

Solid understanding of software configuration management systems and source code version control systems (Git).

Familiarity with test processes and test strategies including the generation of meaningful test metrics.

Strong communication skills to gather requirements from the development teams and to train the teams in the workflow and processes.

Ability to explain complex technical information to non‑software engineers.

Containerization (Docker) experience.

Bonus: basic knowledge in AI/ML concepts.
