The Network Support Specialist will design and support enterprise network architecture to meet evolving client needs. The role involves collaborating with cross?functional teams on design, implementation, and troubleshooting of network solutions. Responsibilities Provide network architecture design and system operational support to other systems. Establish requirements, develop and evaluate technical solutions, architecture designs, and perform solutions analyses. Analyze network ports, protocols, and service configurations; monitor operational systems and troubleshoot Tier III network issues. Identify network performance issues, develop automated configuration management software solutions including software?defined wide?area networking and Whitebox networking. Collaborate with SMEs in cybersecurity, engineering, quality assurance, and operations; participate in acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of network components.

Qualifications Must Have

5+ years experience configuring network devices (switches, routers, firewalls). Experience delivering network engineering artifacts such as templates, configuration guides, and diagrams. Experience with software?defined networking and network automation / Network Access Control (e.g., Forescout, Cisco ISE). Experience with networking tools including SolarWinds, Splunk, ACAS, or Zero Trust strategies. Knowledge of L2?L4 networking protocols. Secret clearance. HS diploma or GED. Security+ and Cisco Certified Network Certifications (CCNA or CCNP).

Qualifications Nice to Have

Experience with VMware vCloud Director. Data analytics skills for design optimization. Experience drafting technical stakeholder requirements, engineering documents, configuration documents, training manuals, troubleshooting processes. Support and configurate applications running on Azure cloud servers. Independent working style and strong teamwork. Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.

Security Clearance

Applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must have Secret clearance. Compensation

Projected salary range: $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). Benefits include health, life, disability, financial and retirement plans, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work?life programs, and dependent care. Hours: 20+ hours a week for part?time or full?time positions. Posting will close within 90 days. Work Model

If remote or hybrid: periodic work from a Booz Allen or client site facility. If onsite: work with colleagues and clients in person as required.
