What You’ll Do As an Electronics Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues
Work with motors, refrigeration systems, PLCs, and industrial controls
Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
Replace and install electrical components (motors, VFDs, sensors, etc.)
Use CMMS (MP2) to manage work orders and document repairs
Collaborate with OEMs and internal teams to resolve technical issues
Ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, and food safety standards
Train staff and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as an electronics mechanic
Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and industrial controls
Experience in a manufacturing environment (food industry preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
