Overview Provide IT systems administration support of TARCES projects that are: fielded or out-of-production; in production phases or are being modernized, modified, or customized; in all phases of the project life cycle; in varying phases of research and development; in all phases of the project life cycle for non-DoD customers; and in all phases of the project life cycle for FMS customers.
Responsibilities
Provide IT systems administration support of TARCES projects that are: fielded or out-of-production; in production phases or are being modernized, modified, or customized; in all phases of the project life cycle; in varying phases of research and development; in all phases of the project life cycle for non-DoD customers; and in all phases of the project life cycle for FMS customers.
Install, configure, and maintain an organization's LAN, data communications network, operating system, and physical and virtual servers.
Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems.
Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.
Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.
Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software as required.
Qualifications
BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET-accredited or CAE-designated institution with five years' experience
