Position Summary

The Vice President of Human Resources (VP of HR) provides strategic and operational leadership for the organization’s people strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer, the VP of HR is responsible for the design, oversight, and execution of HR programs and services including recruiting, benefits, payroll, HR information systems, employee relations, and talent management. This role partners with executive leadership to drive a culture of excellence, engagement, and accountability that supports the organization’s mission and long-term growth. Roles And Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Administrative Officer and all Executive Team to develop and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives. Develop and implement HR strategies that align with Comp Eye’s mission, vision, and values. Oversee recruitment and workforce planning efforts to ensure timely acquisition of top talent across all levels. Oversee competitive and equitable compensation and benefit programs that align with market trends, Comp Eye’s financial picture, and philosophy. Oversee and collaborate with leadership on employee relations, conflict resolution, necessary employee investigations and employee engagement initiatives. Oversee HRIS systems to ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and system optimization. Partner with Finance to manage Human Resources budgets, forecasting, and reporting. Build and sustain a culture of accountability, inclusiveness, and engagement. Work with leadership to create and implement professional development and leadership frameworks. Promote engagement programs and recognition strategies to reinforce culture and retention. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Experience Requirements

10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including 5+ years in a senior HR leadership role. Strong expertise in recruiting, benefits, payroll, HRIS, employee relations, and talent management. Experience in healthcare or multi-site service organizations preferred. Demonstrated ability to partner with executive leadership and influence at all levels of the organization. Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance standards, and HR best practices. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to anticipate future trends and translate them into actionable HR strategies. Strong execution skills with a focus on efficiency and results. Builds strong partnerships across departments and with external stakeholders. Leads organizational change with confidence, empathy, and clarity. Handles sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent certification strongly preferred. Physical Demands
