Vice President of Human Resources

provides strategic and operational leadership for all core HR functions, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

HR Operations & Compliance

– Oversee core HR functions including Total Rewards, leave management, benefits administration, and HRIS.

Manage compliance reporting, labor contract administration, and employee relations.

Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness across all HR operations.

Lead enterprise‑wide HR risk mitigation initiatives and compliance reviews.

People Leadership

– Lead and develop HR managers and staff across multiple business verticals and locations.

Establish accountability for service delivery, quality, and measurable outcomes.

Foster a responsive, compliance‑focused, and succession‑mindful team culture.

Oversee and harmonize HR operations across multiple sites.

Program Delivery

– Oversee annual HR cycles such as performance reviews and goal setting.

Support compensation planning, benefits renewals, and open enrollment processes.

Ensure consistent onboarding, employee journey support, and training program implementation.

Partner with Finance on workforce planning, headcount management, and budget alignment.

Drive programs and initiatives aimed at improving employee retention and engagement.

Strategic Execution Support

– Translate CHRO and executive priorities into actionable operational plans.

Develop and deliver HR dashboards, KPIs, and risk analysis for executive and board reporting.

Identify potential risks, address process gaps, and implement corrective actions proactively.

Serve as a strategic partner on talent strategy, workforce design, and organizational development.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

15+ years of progressive HR leadership spanning multiple functions (e.g., Recruiting, Total Rewards, Employee Relations).

5+ years managing HR in a unionized, multi‑site environment (preferred).

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or commensurate experience); MBA/advanced HR degree preferred.

Current certification required: SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, or SPHR; advanced credentials preferred (e.g., GPHR, advanced labor relations).

Demonstrated proficiency with HRIS and compliance tools and Microsoft Office Suite; strong operational discipline, results focus, leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
