Overview
We are searching for a highly analytical applicant who is capable of working full time and possesses strong negotiation and organizational abilities to join our growing firm as an estate planning attorney. You will create wills, trusts, and powers of attorney for our clients and their families and educate them on matters of insurance and powers of attorney. This role demands a high degree of responsibility to ensure that an estate is managed in accordance with the estate owner's intentions. We are seeking applicants with substantial experience in estate planning. Responsibilities
Draft and file wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. Educate clients about options for retirement, charitable giving, and purchasing insurance. Maintain client files to ensure they are properly organized and up to date. Assist clients in solving legal problems by analyzing the situation and creating a strategic plan of action. Communicate with clients about plans for dispersing their assets. Qualifications
Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree required. Experience at a legal firm working on estate planning and probate law issues for at least 1–2 years. Active member of the ABA (American Bar Association). Understanding of real estate matters, including title insurance, wills and trusts, property management, and litigation. Strong communication skills, especially in high-stress situations. Senioriry level
