Role overview : The Solutions Delivery Analyst IV acts as a lead technical subject matter expert for assigned systems, services, or applications, delivering and supporting mid- to large-sized IT initiatives in partnership with the business. The role provides third-level production support, ensures operational stability, monitors supplier performance, and makes long-term recommendations for operational improvements to enhance system stability in identified functional areas. It also covers knowledge updates, configuration and routine application updates, and ongoing continuous improvement expectations. Work arrangement : Our flexible/hybrid schedule includes 3 in-person days at core locations and 2 remote days. Core locations: Salisbury, NC; Scarborough, ME; Carlisle, PA; and Quincy, MA. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Duties & Responsibilities : Lead Technical SME for systems, services and applications for an identified functional area. Coach and mentor other team members to increase technical knowledge. Lead mid-to-large projects, including resource management and budget considerations with the PMO. Translate business needs into agile stories or waterfall business requirements. Partner with Solution Engineers to build technical specifications to meet business requirements and outcomes. Work with the business and Quality Assurance to build test cases/matrices and ensure proper testing prior to production deployment. Execute tasks during System Integration Testing, document results, and re-test as needed. Collaborate with Solution Engineers on failed tests and any changes to technical specifications. Complete RUN Book Documentation with Service Delivery and prepare for production support turnover. Provide third-level technical support for applications and systems services within a defined functional area; serve as SME and mentor lower-level analysts. Manage performance to meet technical support and service level expectations; oversee relationships for mid-to-large software engagements. Engage with Engineers and Product Teams to ensure solution delivery and operational support needs are met; interact with senior SMEs and teams as required. Lead root cause analysis on complex issues and drive continuous performance improvement opportunities. Collaborate with Engineers, Product Teams, and business groups to implement standard to complex configuration and operational changes. Lead efforts to determine integration needs, design improvements, and design patterns with Engineers, Developers, Suppliers, and Product teams. Identify and drive end-to-end proactive improvements through monitoring tools, continuous improvement activities, and reporting on service availability. Ensure 24/7/365 operational stability for a grocery retail environment by providing technical support, system monitoring, and issue resolution as needed. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS or related field (or equivalent work experience). 5+ years in a relevant technology role, with experience guiding, training or onboarding team members in relevant technologies; capable of leading teams directly or indirectly. Proven ability to manage mid-to-large projects from start to finish with minimal direction. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex situations requiring consideration of multiple factors. Commitment to producing quality work and tracing issues to their source when needed. Judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Preferred Qualifications : Master’s degree in a relevant field. Additional training or certifications in relevant areas. Experience in Agile environments and Product/Platform operating models. Experience leading teams or advancing technical capabilities within teams. Retail or grocery experience preferred; experience with NCR Storeline or NCR POS EX (Emerald) systems is a plus; experience with Connected Payments, Toshiba ACE POS, Self-Checkout, Cash Office operations, and Asset Protection Solutions is preferred. Salary ranges vary by location: ME/NC/PA/SC: $92,640-138,960; IL/MA/MD: $106,480-159,720.
