Leasing Manager , you’ll be the go-to resource for properties needing extra spark. You’ll travel to various communities across the portfolio to drive occupancy, refine sales and marketing strategies, and coach on‑site teams toward success.
You’ll set the pace, build excitement, and deliver results, turning struggling assets into thriving, stabilized communities that reflect the 29th Street Living standard of excellence.
Essential Job Functions
Reignite performance at underperforming properties by increasing occupancy and reducing vacancy loss.
Tour units non‑stop — bring enthusiasm, confidence, and knowledge to every showing.
Set appointments and follow up relentlessly — convert every lead through calls, emails, and effective CRM practices.
Show the sparkle — ensure models, amenities, and common areas always shine and create a lasting impression.
Welcome guests warmly — deliver a professional, upbeat experience that makes every visitor feel at home.
Coach and motivate leasing teams — train staff on sales tactics, customer service, and accountability.
Refresh marketing efforts — design creative outreach campaigns and local partnerships to boost qualified traffic.
Walk units daily — collaborate with maintenance and construction to ensure show‑ready presentation.
Track and report results — analyze leasing data and report on performance progress weekly.
Travel up to 50% — provide support across multiple regions and assist with future new development lease‑ups as needed.
Skills
Proven ability to increase occupancy and improve leasing performance through strong sales and strategy.
Superior organization and communication skills — written, verbal, and interpersonal.
A creative, proactive mindset with a drive to take initiative and execute plans.
Professional polish and positivity — you bring confidence and warmth to every interaction.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Entrata and marketing software experience a plus.
Reliability and accountability — honest time reporting and consistent results.
A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel or temporarily relocate as needed.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
2+ years of multifamily property management experience with a focus on leasing, lease‑ups, or turnaround assets.
